As you sign up to this luxurious subscription you select which candle you'd like to receive in month one, along with your choice of five Pillar Refills to follow throughout the rest of our subscription. Don't worry too much if you change your mind about which Pillar Refills you'd like to try though, just email hello@greathousefarmstores.co.uk if you change your mind and we'll try accommodate.

When you receive your Pillar Refill all you need to do is drop it into your empty GHFS candle pot and then light and enjoy.

In months two - six of your scented candle subscription you receive one of our easy to use Pillar Refills, in your choice of scent. These candle refills simply drop into your empty GHFS candle pot, refilling it in an instant.

We make our candles in small batches here on our Welsh farm. Each one is made with essential and botanical oils and hand-poured with care using our eco-friendly, plant-based wax.

We work exclusively with independent, artisan makers across the UK. Our timeless candles come in keepsake, hand blown glass pots. Our pioneering candle refills mean you can refill our candle pots again and again, making it a pot for life.

Every one of our candle pots is handmade, here in the UK, by a skilled artisan. Every candle is hand poured on our Welsh farm. There will be slight differences from pot to pot and candle to candle, this is part of the beauty of the creative process.

We believe in treading lighting on this beautiful planet. All of our handmade ceramic candle pots are designed to be treasured for a lifetime, used again and again with our Pillar Refills.

Gently coax out the last of the wax and the wick sustainer with a teaspoon then clean your candle pot thoroughly with hot water and soap. Don’t use boiling water or you risk cracking your pot.

We aim to dispatch the first instalment of your subscription within 1-3 working days of placing your order. Subsequent instalments will follow each month after that. All subscriptions are send Royal Mail 2nd class, so allow 1-3 working days for delivery.

Your refillable candle subscription will automatically end after six months, there's no need to cancel it. If however you want to end your subscription early simply contact us and we'll cancel it right away.

If you cancel your subscription before you’ve received your first delivery, or if you return the candle in its original condition, then there’s no fee and you receive a full refund. Thereafter, in months one, two or three there’s a £44 cancellation fee. In month four, five or six there’s a £22 cancellation fee.
